Creating a Lifestyle at La Tierra Escondida | Las Cruces, New Mexico's Premier Green Community

Testimonials

We purchased our property in La Tierra Escondida in 2009. Judd and Mitch took time out of their busy day to meet us at the particular lot that we were looking at. After discussing setbacks, covenants and the benefits to living in this area, we were certain we were making a great decision to purchase our 1.81 acre lot with the most spectacular views of the Organ Mountains. Soon we will build our rammed earth home on our property and join the peaceful community of La Tierra Escondida. This subdivision is truly a gem nestled in "The Hidden Land".

Spring is showing up early around Las Cruces as usual. Even though Punxatawney Phil saw his shadow, and predicted 6 more weeks of winter, that almost never happens around here.  The days are getting longer and warmer, I saw the Red Eared Slider turtle who lives in my pond come out from hiding to get some sun yesterday, and a large group of bicycle riders getting a workout on the hills in the neighborhood, a

I'm not sure how to begin this blog I have never blogged before, but I'm ready to give it a shot...

This year has been unusually wet for Las Cruces we've even had snowfall this past December, and in January.  Around here we tend to think the snowfall was just beautiful. Of course snowfall is a pretty rare event for us it seems like fifteen, or more years since the last snow came, and went.  I
