Creating a Lifestyle at La Tierra Escondida | Las Cruces, New Mexicos Premier Green Community

Testimonials

Magnificent, breathtaking, and awesome are but a few of the words we use to describe the views from our living room.  To the west, we enjoy the early evening glow of the city lights, while the fresh early morning air adds to the true southwest feeling as the Organ Mountains tower above the horizon to our east.  From time to time, we witness wild game such as quail, coyotes, foxes, road runners and even mule deer on a couple of occasions. We enjoy our evening walks along the trail that meanders throughout the neighborhood of large estate size lots that provide real privacy. This is truly southwest living at its best!

We just read this great article about Las Cruces and wanted to share it with everyone.

We found it on New Mexico Magazine's website. It starts off:

"If Las Cruces had an astrological sign, it would certainly be Gemini, those very different twins residing in one being. Spring winds sandblast skin and have launched (at least) a thousand hats, but subside to tranquil breezes that ruffle satiny, amber petals of Mexican poppies erupting from desert slopes. An horno-hot sun dominates summer days before giving way to cool evenings ideal for stargazing; winter ice and occasional snow accumulation usually melt quickly in the mild climate of southern New Mexico."
