Testimonials

Magnificent, breathtaking, and awesome are but a few of the words we use to describe the views from our living room.  To the west, we enjoy the early evening glow of the city lights, while the fresh early morning air adds to the true southwest feeling as the Organ Mountains tower above the horizon to our east.  From time to time, we witness wild game such as quail, coyotes, foxes, road runners and even mule deer on a couple of occasions. We enjoy our evening walks along the trail that meanders throughout the neighborhood of large estate size lots that provide real privacy. This is truly southwest living at its best!

On Wednesday, April 21 I was watching Fox and Friends as I was dressing for work. Donald Trump was on by telephone, and proclaimed, "This is a great time to buy real estate." The retort from the commentator was something like, "That's because you have a lot of real estate for sale.  To that Mr. Trump quietly said, "Well I'm buying as much as I can." Like the Donald or not, he knows real estate.

We are pleased to see so much new home building activity in the subdivision this year.  Six new homes have broken ground and are under construction right now.    We now know six more families who understand why La Tierra Escondida is the place to be!  You should come by and find out for yourself why we have sold more lots, and have more homes under construction, than any other large lot subdivision in the area.

Spring is showing up early around Las Cruces as usual. Even though Punxatawney Phil saw his shadow, and predicted 6 more weeks of winter, that almost never happens around here.  The days are getting longer and warmer, I saw the Red Eared Slider turtle who lives in my pond come out from hiding to get some sun yesterday, and a large group of bicycle riders getting a workout on the hills in the neighborhood, a

I'm not sure how to begin this blog I have never blogged before, but I'm ready to give it a shot...

This year has been unusually wet for Las Cruces we've even had snowfall this past December, and in January.  Around here we tend to think the snowfall was just beautiful. Of course snowfall is a pretty rare event for us it seems like fifteen, or more years since the last snow came, and went.  I
