Creating a Lifestyle at La Tierra Escondida | Las Cruces, New Mexico's Premier Green Community

Testimonials

Magnificent, breathtaking, and awesome are but a few of the words we use to describe the views from our living room.  To the west, we enjoy the early evening glow of the city lights, while the fresh early morning air adds to the true southwest feeling as the Organ Mountains tower above the horizon to our east.  From time to time, we witness wild game such as quail, coyotes, foxes, road runners and even mule deer on a couple of occasions. We enjoy our evening walks along the trail that meanders throughout the neighborhood of large estate size lots that provide real privacy. This is truly southwest living at its best!

I'm not sure how to begin this blog I have never blogged before, but I'm ready to give it a shot...

This year has been unusually wet for Las Cruces we've even had snowfall this past December, and in January.  Around here we tend to think the snowfall was just beautiful. Of course snowfall is a pretty rare event for us it seems like fifteen, or more years since the last snow came, and went.  I posted a picture or two on the gallery page so you can see for your selves this unusual sight.  Because if you ask different people around Las Cruces about the snow.  They my look at you a bit puzzled, if they slept in that day, they might have missed it!

The other exciting news is the number of new housing starts in La Tierra Escondida, beginning this year.  As of January one more home was completed, and the family moved in, and three new homes broke ground, and are under construction.  The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) has just finished reviewing three new plans that appear ready to start this February. Plenty of fresh activity to start the New Year off, with more housing starts to come.

The plats, and pricing pages of our web sight have been fully updated to reflect the most current information available.  Or you can check in with Connie Hettinga & Zane Fikany, our professional Real Estate representatives, for your personal tour of any of our spectacular building sights, and the latest information regarding La Tierra Escondida at http://www.lascrucesnmproperties.com/
